EVERYTHING HORSE: You name it, we do it, riding, grooming, clipping, bareback, get dirty....... all the good stuff!! Pure camp fun, Horses learning all in one!! Campers learn about feeding the horses and taking care of them and then learn to ride and have a lot of fun getting to know their new four legged friends and two legged!! More advanced riders will have a primary focus on Trail riding and even Jumping (if they like it) and flatwork technique, Gridwork and Height. (Riders must be able to canter confidently and started over Cross rails.) This camp is open to ANYONE at ANY level.
EVERYTHING ELSE: We will ride in the mornings, when the temperature is the coolest, than after lunch and some stable chores we spend time in the bouncy house and water slide bounce house to cool off! Kids of all ages have fun, no matter the temperature.
Age requirements: Children must be a minimum of 5 years old and fully potty trained to attend camp. Kids of all ages love Suffolk Stables Summer Camp, and ages range from 5-15!
All Weather Fun: Weather permitting, we spend as much time outdoors as possible. On clear, sunny days we may venture out for a trail ride. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather and apply sunscreen before they get to camp.

Campers should arrive wearing long pants, muck or rain boots, with a bathing suit underneath.

At Suffolk, safety and fun are our main priorities. We provide a secure environment for students to ride, learn and grow...all while having fun and developing new relationships. It is our desire that all students at Suffolk Stables be equipped with the tools and knowledge to achieve their goals both in and out of the horse riding ring. If your child is not ready to ride we don't push them to - they can groom, bath, and have fun in plenty of other ways.
