Our Horse back riding Camps in Spring, Summer and Winter 2022 are located on site at Suffolk Stables and cover everything a person needs to know when it comes to horses, even if to eventually own or lease their own horse. You do not need to own a horse or lease one to ride at Suffolk, so come out and just have FUN.
At Suffolk Stables...we're all about fun!!.
At Suffolk, safety and fun are our main priorities. We provide a secure environment for students to ride, learn and grow...all while having fun and developing new relationships. It is our desire that all students at Suffolk Stables be equipped with the tools and knowledge to achieve their goals both in and out of the horse riding ring.
We have horse camps on our farm for the Spring , we also do a November 'Schools out' camp and a Winter Camp during winter break. Dates as follows;
2022 CAMP DATES
1.______ June 27 - July 01 - Horse camp all levels: $400 (early bird pays $350) 9am-3pm
2. ______July 4 to July 8 – Horse camp all levels $400 (early bird pays $350) 9amto 3pm
3.______ July 11 - July 15 – Trail riding week : $350 (early bird pays $325)
4. ______July 18 to July 22 – Jumping week $350 (early bird pays $325)
5.______ July 25 - July 29 – Show week: $350 (early bird pays $325)
6. ______Aug 1 to Aug 5 – Everything horse week $350 (early bird pays $325)
7.______Aug 8 to Aug 12 – Eventing Camp $450 (early bird pays $400) 9am-3pm
8. _____Aug 15 to Aug 19 - Horse training camp (round penning, pesoa system, leg
Wrapping/sweating, clipping, advance horse care etc) $400 (early bird pays $350) 9am to 3pm
EVERYTHING HORSE : You name it, we do it, riding, bathing, clipping, bareback, water play, get dirty....... all the good stuff!!!!
*EVENTING CAMP: Fun three event week, Show jumping from ground poles to 2'6', Cross country around the track or in a secure grass area for the beginners over little logs. Dressage in the ring. Friday is competition day so we train all week! Ribbons Awarded on Friday for the winners and a pizza lunch. Guest judge on the Friday.
Horse Camp FUN for All Levels EVERY CAMP WEEK: Pure camp fun, Horses, riding, bathing, bareback, dirt, fresh air and learning all in one!!!! Campers learn about feeding the horses and taking care of them and then learn to ride and have a lot of fun getting to know their new four legged friends and two legged!! More advanced riders will have a primary focus on Jumping and flatwork technique, Gridwork and Height . (Riders must be able to canter confidently and started over Cross rails.) This camp is open to ANYONE.
!!!WARNING!!! Your kids will come home dirty and tired and completely happy!!
*HORSE TRAINING CAMP: This camp will run the same time as the regular camp and be geared towards those riders that wish to have more education and experience TRAINING. Saddle fitting, bridle fitting, proper padding, boots, girths, martingales etc. horse braiding, clipping, first aid, Lunging properly and what to look for and how to train the horse on a lunge line, round pen training and in saddle training and so much more.
A full five day week of camp or $85. Camp starts at 0900 and pick up time is 300pm unless otherwise stated. $200 deposit to secure slot. NON REFUNDABLE.

WINTER CAMP 2022
Dec 26th through 30th 0800 to 400pm $350.00
Winter camp is open for enrollment. Please call 609-346-7093 to book your spot $375 for the week. All the fun stuff all day long. Riding, training, horsemanship and so much more. Unmounted will be held in the house with a fire going and naps are optional at lunch time :)

We will be following the CDC and Governors guidelines for COVID -19. Regular hand washing, social distancing, masks inside the Building
ADULT ONLY camp - $150 for the day . Date TBD
This includes your rides and a Catered lunch and a guest speaker for the day and all the fun of the kids camp but its just for the ADULTS. So get your ideas for your barn design because we will have a barn design competition!!!

What to wear:
Campers should arrive wearing Long pants, Muck or rain boots.
Riding boots must have a heel for riding, you can NOT ride in sneakers. Helmets are available for loan. Rain boots a MUST and sneakers for later in the day.

Riding boots (Paddock boots or similar)
Hair ties for your hair
Shorts and tshirt
sneakers (they will get ruined in water and mud just FyI)
swim suit for after noon activities
