ABOUT JULIA
As an aspiring professional rider, trainer and instructor, my background in riding is diverse between disciplines from Western, Hunter/Jumper, Dressage and Eventing. This allows me to be a versatile rider, trainer and instructor. I have started and finished horses from handling babies to feral untouched horses. I am confident in my ability to gentle horses and solidify their ground manners. I have worked under many horse enthusiasts and sought out more education. Trailering my own horses to the Parelli farm, I learned essential games and Introvert/Extrovert methods. I also traveled to Florida with my own horse for a working/training routine with Buck Davidson (Dec 2021-April 2022). I continue my education through a program on Huddle by Tik Maynard. I feel the sound mindedness of a horse puts them at ease and ready to learn. The reward or lack thereof, coupled with horse psychology, I feel, gives great results in teaching the horse. Bringing confidence, leadership and patience to every horse allows them to respect my position on the ground and in the saddle.
